We had dinner as part of a bed, breakfast and dinner package. The food was excellent. All the dishes looked interesting and good. We had the ox cheek and the duck as main courses. It was my birthday and after the meal I was presented with a candle on a small cake. Service was good and we enjoyed dining there.

A marvellous place, last time I visited prior to the refurbishment it felt dated. It has nplow been spruced up. Parking is of course is easy. The service was good, despite of the large number of people.

Monkey Island.. A lovely place to visit, beautiful garden to walk around and not too big either, especially when your pregnant and woddle like a penguin I especially liked the little walk way, that takes you to the boat spa, covered with beautiful flowers and lots of lavender.. very scented and relaxing. My husband and I ordered in some mocktails, sat in the garden and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and pleasant. There was a good few people also doing the same as us, which was really nice, it added to the atmosphere, people drinking, laughing and enjoying the lovely scenery. Smiles all around

A beautiful venue let down by a lack of thought for the outside bar area. The tables look forgotten about, there's no music, there's no vibe. Could be great as the staff were amazing and the setting by the Thames is stunning, but it is let down by a lack of thought.

We came for lunch on 5th August. The food was outstanding and better than the Michelin starred restaurant we visited for dinner. Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. Thanks especially to Daniela.

A beautiful sunny day made this an unparalleled location, enjoying views over the beautiful grounds and river. Wonderful service from genuinely friendly staff. Our afternoon tea itself was good: very good scones and cakes; the sandwiches though were a little overpowering with their flavours (in particular the beef and horseradish), which made it difficult to enjoy the flavours of the teas themselves. The manager was gracious with the feedback and hopefully a more delicate horseradish flavour will be worked on. A nice touch was the little birthday cake, very decoratively done. Looking forward to returning for an actual meal.

Lovely birthday lunch. Good food, well presented, welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful decore and loved the classical and mainstream instrumentals. Made to feel extra special with the artwork presented by the chef on my dessert. Thank you for making my day feel extra special
